Day 1: Classic Paris

Morning:

  • Eiffel Tower: Start your trip with the quintessential Parisian landmark. Get there early to avoid the crowds and enjoy the panoramic views from the top.

Afternoon:

  • Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe: Stroll down the famous avenue, explore the shops, and visit the Arc de Triomphe which honours the soldiers who fought in the French Revolutionary War and Napoleonic Wars. Climb to the top for another stunning view of Paris.

Evening:

  • Seine River Cruise: Take a romantic evening cruise on the Seine to see the city's landmarks beautifully illuminated.

Day 2: Historical Paris

Morning:

  • Notre-Dame Cathedral: Visit the iconic cathedral. While the interior might still be closed for restoration, the exterior and nearby areas are worth exploring. It will reopen on December 8th 2024.

Afternoon:

  • Île de la Cité and Sainte-Chapelle: Explore this historic island and visit the stunning Sainte-Chapelle with its incredible stained glass windows.

Evening:

  • Latin Quarter: Spend the evening in this vibrant district known for its lively atmosphere, narrow streets, universities, and great dining options.

Day 3: Art and Culture

Morning:

  • Louvre Museum: Spend your morning exploring the world’s largest art museum. Don't miss the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.

Afternoon:

  • Musée d'Orsay: After lunch, head to this museum housed in a former railway station, featuring an extensive collection of Impressionist masterpieces including Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhone.

Evening:

  • Moulin Rouge: Visit the Moulin Rouge for some class entertainment in the evening.

Day 4: Royal Extravagance

All Day:

  • Versailles Palace: Spend the day exploring the opulent palace, its extensive gardens, and the Trianon palaces. Return to Paris in the evening.

Day 5: Unique Experiences

Morning:

  • Catacombs of Paris: Start your day with a visit to the eerie and fascinating Catacombs which holds the remains of more than six million people. This was originally part of an effort to curb the overflow of cemeteries in the city.

Afternoon:

  • Père Lachaise Cemetery: Explore this famous cemetery, the resting place of numerous notable figures, including Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, and Édith Piaf.

Evening:

  • Le Marais: Spend the evening in this trendy neighborhood, known for its historic buildings, boutique shops, and excellent eateries.

Day 6: Iconic Monuments

Morning:

  • Pantheon: Visit this impressive mausoleum where many famous French figures are buried, including Voltaire, Rousseau, and Victor Hugo.

Afternoon:

  • Napoleon's Tomb at Les Invalides: Explore the Hôtel des Invalides and visit the grand tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Evening:

  • Montmartre: End the day in this bohemian neighborhood, visit the Sacré-Cœur Basilica for amazing views, and explore the artistic history.

Day 7: Fun and Leisure

All Day:

  • Disneyland Paris: Spend your final day at the magical Disneyland Paris. Do the rides at both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park that you can't do at the parks in the US like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril and Avengers: Assemble Flight Force. Return to Paris in the evening.

Evening:

  • Dinner in a Bateau Mouche: End your trip with a dinner cruise on the Seine, offering delicious French cuisine and stunning views of Paris at night.
